Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood writer and actress who has been recognized for her talents. She's a Sagittarius born on the 3rd of December 1960. She was born in North Carolina. She's among the three youngest children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. She's English and Scottish. Moore's dad moved around often due to his job. It was hard for her to find or keep friends. Moore's family moved into Germany and she went to Frankfurt American High School, where her first acting roles were in plays. The role provided her with the opportunity to break through and led to her success. The show ran until 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she began her film debut with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later described as a terrible low-budget film. She was in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both films by Robert Altman. The films were critically acclaimed and Moore received multiple nominations. Moore received her first film role as a lead in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg, who was producer of Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997, one of that year's biggest grossing movies, cast Moore as the main actress. She won the SAG award for her work in Magnolia. In 2002, she co-starred with The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore was also featured in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop the film in which she appeared in 2014 was released. Moore has appeared in numerous movies and television shows. In the most recent, she appeared in the role of the main character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). Her acting career in Hollywood is well established and she is also a novelist for children that has been published. Her first book Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007, and it became a bestseller on the New York Times. Bestseller. The book was made into a series as well as a music. The book she wrote in 2013 titled My Mom is A Foreigner also became a top-selling. Moore, as a very successful actor and author, has made her personal life public. She split from John Robin in 1995.
